On the site today
“Thank you for an amazing season, we are now CLOSED.”
Underneath it the membership page offers a Mid-season pass — “Get unlimited skiing for the rest of the season”. The snow report reads 216 cm, dated March 29th, and the events list ends with the Year-End Party, 21 March 2026.
Meanwhile Telemark Nordic, one of the clubs Nickel Plate members already get a discount at, opened 2026-27 season pass and program registration in July.
The date that matters
31 October
Their own early-bird cutoff. It is the one piece of copy on a nordic club’s site with real money attached, and right now it sits behind a closing notice from March.
This is not neglect. It is what happens when the season ends, everyone goes home, and the website is the last thing anybody wants to look at in April.

What a pass includes
- Unlimited cross-country skiing and snowshoeing at Nickel Plate
- Discounts on private lessons and three-week courses
- Discounts on rentals
- Reciprocal day-pass discounts at other Okanagan and BC nordic clubs
Fees are set each season through Zone4 and include a mandatory Cross Country BC membership for insurance, plus GST. This concept does not restate them — a price that turns out to be last season’s is the whole problem it is trying to fix.
